MV prices in your country: 1000R and 910R

I'm just doing a little research to see how much we get shafted here in Australia with MV prices.

I've picked two models: F41000R and Brute 910R.
Prices are for a new bike, stock standard, on the road (ie incl taxes, etc), in local currency (converted to USD in brackets).

In Sydney F41000Rs are going for AUD31,500 (USD30,000), a 910R sets us back AUD29,500 (USD28,000). I know prices vary a bit from dealer to dealer and depend on your capacity to haggle, but I'm not after surgical precision here, average pricing will do.

What are they going for in your part of the world? If you're not in the US, pls include local currency and convert to USD

we get shafted badly.... so i geuss badly is the answer. Cosidering the exchange rate , we pay a shitload more for the same product. Almost worth importing.

I was at a Ducati/MV dealership last week. They have seven left-over F4Rs on the showroom floor. They'll sell you a brand new '07 F4 for $16,000.00. I'm in northeast USA.

We get shafted on bikes and cars.

Although not as badly as say....Singapore or Malaysia. Much bigger duties, makes our prices look cheap

here in germany, it can vary a bit from dealer to dealer.
but it is around (including all taxes)

910R 25120 USD (16000 Eur)
F4 1000R 33750 USD (21500 Eur)

so, it is just that the US people get really cheap prices at the moment. and it
is to some point the much lower sales tax, but more important the very low
dollar. i would not be surprised if the prices in the US for luxury goods produced
in europe will rise a lot in near future.
