Crashed at the track

Dont worry not the MV she was home safe in the garage.

I had my first crash at the track yesterday it wasn't too bad. My friend crashed right in front of me and i would have hit him i grabbed a handful of brake at about 60mph and lowsided. frame slider did its job i came out perfectly fine except my pinky where the glove tore. Pretty lucky if you ask me now i know how it is at a higher speed i dumped my bike before on gravel at about 20 which was nothing. here are a few pics. Bike doesnt look bad at all i started it up and rode it back to the pit area. All i think i need is a new puck for my frame slider.

Sorry to hear that Sammy, glad you and the MV are OK!!!

Hey, could you please post a really up-close picture of your injury, I can't quite make out the tissue tears and ripped blood vessels in that one. Thanks.

P.S. What gloves were you wearing so I can be sure NOT to buy them?

Glad you're okay, and the bike seems no worse for wear.

2nd that...what brand and style gloves were you wearing??? Unless you balanced all your weight on your pinky for the duration of the slide, they should not have done that.

A gun is not a weapon. It's a tool, like a butcher's knife, or a harpoon, or an alligator.

looks like a classic case of *pinky-pinch*. Where you hand gets in between the end of the clip ons and the ground..... pretty common. I know a guy that ground his finger down and only had 2 bones left in his pinky finger (no finger nail). He said he could have used better gloves.

Glad you're ok

If at first you don't succeed, use a hammer instead

the gloves were made by teknic supposed to be really good i didnt land right my friend that caused me to go down was fine with the same gloves he grabbed his chest or something. The bike already had scratches on it also so the scratches are not all from this fall but from a previous owner i think i made it out lucky as hell thanks for all your replies guys. im looking at getting these gloves by a company called hell i think. They are supposed to be really good anyone ever heard of them?
