Local dealer has one for sale for $35,000.

They've had it for a while, don't really want to sell it, hence the price.

Looks great in their shop though

It's pretty cool. It's a matte finish, maybe a little rougher to the touch then say an SPR or Nero.

It looks really good!

Most of the 748 and 998/ 996 ducatis I have seen have been crash rebuilds, and the ones that aren't were overpriced

Thanks for the picture, and indeed, this is the ONLY Senna and the ONLY year that Ducati made a Senna...

I have even heard some refer to the same color Monster as a Senna...silly if you ask me...

In fact, Ducati made the 916 Senna I in 1995 (grey), the Senna II in 1996 (silver) and the Senna III in 1997/98 (black). All with red wheels. Basically the standard 916 engine in the 916SP chassis.

The S4 monster was also made in a Senna variant (grey).

35000? wow. That sounds like a lot. To be honest I really don't know much about this bike. But the one down the street at ~20,000 bucks is a good deal? (uh oh)

It is a nice bike.

The design is looking a little OLD to me these days.........I guess CLASSIC would be a better word.
