even with a chain same thing can happen, probually got hydrailic cutters in the car also

Very good point. Jap bikes are forever going in London. Quick strip down and flog the parts on ebay etc.

Perhaps another good point from you nicensleazy

In a way bike companies are encouraging bike theft, they make the cost of spares and replacement parts so expensive that bike theft and selling the parts on e-bay is a profitable bussiness

look at the cost for any genuine part - brake lever etc you wonder who the crooks are!
