Question New guy - with a question

First of all,

Only a couple posts in. Great site and a great group. Thanks for the warm welcome from some of you in the DC/NoVa area.

Had a great day today riding. A little cool at the start, but the sun was out so it warmed up nicely. Just bought the Brutale 750 a few weeks ago and today was the first "real" ride with a friend of mine. Have to say - I'm hooked. Love the MV so far.

So my question is this...I thought I read on here that they run rich. Tried to do a search on it just now, but not seeing anything. Bike smells like it's running rich. Is this normal or should I get it checked out???

Appreciate your help.

It's possible it is running rich. Hard to guess

Where's the love James?

It is common. When setup the dealer should have adjusted the CO. If your bike is running fine, not too much soot on the pipes, that I wouldn't worry about it You could pull the plugs to check.

If you want to tweak it, it's possible to do yourself. otherwise you could have a dealer look at it.

There's some info here on adjustment:

Thanks, Gladio. Appreciate the links.

Great mods and pics of your Brutale.
