Cut out issues

2014 brutale 800 eas seems to cut out at 7000 rpm in any gear, my nearest dealership near me is 2 months behind on service. I've heard it's a common issue to do with the gear position sensor, can anyone shed some light on this? If so, is there somewhere they can be ordered online?

Welcome to the family !! Where in the world are you? Would you please add that info to your profile?

How many miles on your 800 Brutale? and how long have you owned it?

If this problem has only recently begun you likely have a restricted fuel filter. If it has done it since new you may have a Japan or French ECU (I think those are the 2 countries with limits) which is restricted to low horsepower output (and therefore revs).
