Panniers

Hey amigos just wondering if anyone has dealt with repairing
the panniers as I have been offered a set with one needing some repair.
Ur thoughts.....and thanx in advance
PS any other Sydney tv owners

I think it could clean up pretty well, but will always have the damaged/missing plastic. Maybe a good painter with proper flexible body filler could fill in and paint with success.

They can do amazing repairs on plastic auto body bits these days.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

The painted panels are available from the factory separately, not that cheap and maybe some lead time though. Motocorsa managed to get the white ones for mine without much delay, part of the deal when their technician static dropped my bike. Alternatively filler and paint. Plastic welding and paint finish maybe an option for the black part. Doubt if you'll get an absolute perfect factory fresh looking finish though.

I'd take a close look at the mounting mechanism (upper and lower) to ensure no damage.
