Fuel tank help

Hi guys I'm located in U.S I have problem with my fuel tank I read some forums and find out that ethanol let's say melting my fuel tank so I'm wondering is there any way to protect the fuel tank from the inside I need some advice and suggestions please

I doubt anything you add to the fuel will stop the solvent action of ethanol.
Any clue what plastic the tank is made from?

If you really do need the tank protected, I'd look at getting a coating.
Maybe look at epoxy coating like Caswell sells. http://www.caswellplating.com.au/sto...el-tank-sealer.

Or teflon?

When did you buy the bike? Lift the seat off and look for a grey circle sticker. If you have it, the fuel tank is ok for ethanol.

Using a two-part epoxy coating deters the ethanol issue. Caswell is one.
