MV Sidecar racer

It seems to be for sale. I don't know anything about it. Found it while looking for a Fangio T-shirt. Anyone have more info?

Fascinating, thanks for your post.
What sort of horse power would this chuck out? I presume the 750 engine is raced tuned. Would it be a factory race engine rather than a road bikes engine?

Good question. From the auction text, it mentions a specific transmission. In sidecar racing, do they use MotoGP shift?

This thread could've been placed in racing, I suppose. I just figured since it is a 1976 bike, guys in this section might know a bit more.

The second link indicates it was sold for 59,600. Here's one of the pics for those who don't click links.

Thank you, Veltro. I hadn't considered that links could be a problem.
For me, it's interesting as an odd bit of MV history.

It doesn't look real in those pictures, looks like a very good model.

Wink ?

I'm suspicious;

where did they find a chain drive 750?

the rear shock mount won't last a lap

chair disc is unused

there is no 'traction' for the monkey

the wheels sort of look like Campagnolos but they aren't right......I have a set of Mg ones on my Abarth

and the 750 Super America was slow......barely faster than my '72 R75 BMW
