1978 UK press advert

Just found a dusty old magazine in the loft containing this advert, hope you find it intresting. The wording seems to recognise the passing of the racing era.

Thumbs up Love Those Old Orginal Ads

That advert was 2 years after MV's last GP win (at the Nurburgring) which both poignantly and fittingly was with Agostini on board and also his last ever win as a racer.

If you stuck a gun to my head and said I could only ever keep one bike, this one would be it - no question.

Thanks for sharing that piece of histroy Bev - great stuff seeing it

Actually 3X became the importer round that time. Later importation moved to MotoGB and from 1 September is now direct supply through MV Agusta UK based in Tyne and Weir.
