Bad Wheel Bearing?

Im noticing a strange almost humming coming from the front of the bike. Almost 100% sure its the wheel bearing as it almost feels as though there is slight play in the wheel itself. Am I crazy here or does this sound right? I might be imagining the play in the wheel as its tight and put on correctly. Maybe the humming is from the speedometer?

After a run, is there any heat in the hub? Could well be a bearing but if you think it might be the speedo, disconnect the cable and take the bike for a spin to see if the noise remains
