Classic MV magazine articles

Greetings from Canberra

I have a couple of magazine articles that may be of interest to the classic MV lover.

One is from [Australian] Two Wheels October 1976, and is on the 750 Sport America. The companion car for the test, which is 5 pages long, is a Ferrari Dino 308 GT4. I have just noticed that I do not have the last part of the test, which knwoing Two Wheels, would have been only a few paras. Will try & find, but I think it is lost. Photos are colour and B&W. They are very glowing about the MV, & the article includes specifications and ratings out of 10. Its price at that time in Aust was $4995, the Ferrari was $31,000.

The other article is more recent, from [USA] MotorCycle Classics Sept/Oct 2017 and is on the 1955 300B Bicilindrica, which was apparently only ever a prototype. 4.5 pages and some nice big colour photos.

If anyone is intersted I can scan them in and email them to you, unless you can advise of a better way. Happy to post the originals to someone if they live in a country to which I am prepared to send mail.

regards
Scott

Further observations. In Feb 1976 I bought a new Suzuki GT750A for $1790 (AUD). As I recall, at about that time, a Triumph Bonneville T140 was $2200, and the Triumph Trident T160 I very much desired was $3300. I do not recall how much the even more desired Moto Guzzi Le Mans 850 Mk1 was at the time, I suspect somewhere 'tween the T160 and the 750 Sport America.
