yep looks like Franki to me too, but I didn't think he was that built. always looked a tad more wirey on tv.

Always appreciated his candid interviews on the grid or post race. I remember a WSB race where I think it was Aaron Slight who punted him off the track on the last lap and he went flipping into a sunken ditch end over end. Those were the days!

Had the pleasure of riding with him a few times at trackdays and once in a race (he was slumming it), really nice chap.

What's more he squared up to Foggy in the pit lane

Foggy was a total tool-bag back in those days. I'm sure he has lightened up since, and would probably be a really good night out with some beers. Either one of those guys, must have UNREAL stories to tell.

D, I think the Slighty incident was in Japan at the last round where he had a chance of winning the Championship however had a run in with Neil Hodgson? the Chili ditch incident was at Assen with Fogarty an I think they have made up
