Missing parts for RS150, any idea where to get them?

Hey everyone!

So many of you already know I have been working on my Rs150 for a while. The bike runs perfectly, however some parts are still missing. I hope you guys can help me to find them. I am member of the UK club, but they donīt always have all parts available (unfortunately). So this means I have to look for the rest of them by myself.

I need a CEV SpeedoDrive and cable. If I am not mistaken, on the drive there are some numbers stamped. In this case I remember it was 136.

I also need to find some straps for the battery. There is not a battery box. Instead, there is a base plate, I guess I need a strap or two to secure the battery in its place.

I hope you guys know where to get these parts, specially the speedodrive.

Best
D.

I am also looking for a speedo drive. The chap from the MV club said they were as rare as hens teeth. Probably unobtainable in this country and difficult to find in Italy. I'm considering engineering my own.

Hi, have you tried US and Italian ebay. The US especially seems to have a lot of NOS CEV parts. Try 'cev speedo' and 'cev speedometer'. For the battery strap/clamp you may be able to use/modify a Lambretta series 3 one as they shared the same battery. You will need the original black type battery though so the cover protects the terminals.

If anyone finds parts on US EBay, and the shipper won't ship to where you are, then contact me and we can arrange shipping.

Thanks a lot, the US market for mopedsīspeedos is quite nice, however,itīs a pain to haven them shipped to Europe. The import duties, VAT... long burocratic process to get the taxes paid, and longer time for the Customs office to release the parcel, just make it almost impossible.

However, without a speedo, I canīt have it road legal. Unless I find myself a original cover for the speedo hole. I remember back then, the Speedo is not mandatory.

I will check the Lambrettaīs strap on ebay. Nice tip.

You can try Jürgen Kaiser in Germany, he has a shop for spare parts for Italian bikes, especially for the little ones:
