Looking for a Dellorto UA16b carburetor

hello,

i am looking for some time but i cannot find a UA16b carburetor. it is used in the MV agusta Checca Sport.

does anybody here have one or a tip where i can get one?

alternatively is there another carburetor i could use instead on the checca?

Have you tried Ebay ?http://m.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_nkw...1&actrack=true
Alternatively try google even try image. I recently found a complete Ta 16 for my 1946 "98" on a Spanish classified site from google image

yes i tried everything(ebay, subito.it, italien ebay marektplace). i nearly got one from holland marketplace side but he sold it one day before. F***..

it is easy to fine UA16s or ua16bs but nearly impossible to find the UA16b.

i dont know if the others also work?

The difference between UA16 B and UA16 BS is the side of the air and slide screws (S means "Sinistro" left in italian)
UA 16 BS carb has left side tuning screws, and UA 16 B has right side screws.

Sometimes it may cause problems (twins by exemple) but for a single cylinder it could do the job.

I had the same problem trying to find my Ta 16 for my 1946 "98". Plenty of Ta 17 ,18 etc on eBay , but never 16 .
Never give up the search, it will come up eventually . I found mine almost after year of on /off searching . And on a Spanish classified site , I had to communicate with the seller using google translate as he spoke only Spanish . I didn't think I would get it after 6 weeks , only to find out the idiot post office here sent it to the same address only in a different suburb 4 hours away from home.

that is some very valuable infomation! i will try that then.

one other thing: the GT version of the checca has another carburetor it is an ME16bs. looks completele different. but there are just a few parts different in the GT version too.

maybe also worth a try?

Hi Sorry
I did a mistake : the "S" means left hand, when it's the second letter after the numer (size) of the carb (For exemple UB 24 BS).

When the"S" is just after the number it's another signification and i dont know which one exactly.
