Ipotesi no spark

Finished my restoration on the mv. Bike started first kick and was fantastic. Then out of nowhere I have no spark. I have power to the ignition. Power to the electronic ignition but nothing to my coils. Everything should be plugged in right as it ran before.
The only things that happened.
My indicator lights shit the bed on me. That's the only thing that is different from when it first ran.
It looks like I have no Zener on the bike and just A dansi ecu box. True box is getting no power and I have zero power from my red lead out of the ignition.
Any help would be fantastic.

Gunnar I don't know what to read out of Your post and I guess many feel sorrily the same.
"My indicator lights shit the bed on me"
However I looked in the manual and the parts catalogue.
Now I know the Zener is a diode.
For what it is installed is cloudy for me.
So You have power to the ignition and from there to the electronic ignition (Dansi) thereafter You have no power.
Did I read that right?
If so I would say Your Dansi electronics are fried.
Sorry if I was no help but at least I tried.

The Dansi system is a weak point on this model . Most people upgrade to the powerdynamo which I have.

Yikes, sorry about my earlier comment...I am out of my league when discussing the older models.
I thought I was in the F4 section somehow.

Back to running my local Nuclear Power Plant, now where did I put that doughnut....

Narrowed it down to the dansi components. Need a rectifier. Just upgraded to the powerdynamo for the 74 350. Now this one is fried. Love those old Italian bikes....

I know what you mean. I recently changed ignition system, brakes and rebuilt carbs on my Ipotesi and then the valve let go,engine rebuild. They are definitely a labour of love these old Italian bikes. Also had to change the electrical system on the 175 as it was fried.
Must be a weak point on the old Italian bikes

Wink zenier diode?

think late '60 English bikes......

they use a shunt regulator ....... not like an automotive voltage regulator that controls output by regulating the field windings

they use a permanent magent rotor and dump extra electricity to the zenier diode thats why they were in finned alloy heatsinks

trust me my '04 Aprilia RSVR has had 7 stators........too much magnetism in the rotor

check the Engish bike Forums there are new regulators that work

I'll ask Eddie the Matchless Wizard...... he has a wiring diagram of the new stuff across from his desk

REMIND ME IF I FORGET TO ASK HIM
