exhaust

hi people 2012 brute 1090r am interested in a exhaust system for my bike would like a full system to get rid of that converter and fix the throttle response down low and of course the power increase any suggestions appreciated mike

A full exhaust alone won't correct the throttle response , unless you were getting it dyno tuned as well. IMHO, the power increase really isn't that significant with just a new pipe. It sure does sound better though.

If you want I have my stock pipes I cut down about six inches. Like everyone said before the only thing exhaust really does is improve sound which is all I wanted to accomplish with these and I did. They sound great but I sold my 1090RR so now they are just sitting around. You could have the bike dyno tuned afterward and the throttle response would probably be slightly improved. Here is a link to the build. I'd let them go for $300 or so if you were interested.

I guess my question should have been what are people running on their brutes,full slip ons and such and what gains if any did you get, likes and dislikes about their choices thanks mike

I have the arrow full system which was less than $1000 for the aluminum looks great and weighs half as much as the stock. Do not know if there is any HP Gain since I have not had it dynoed. Sounds really nice but not too loud with the db killer in
