Info wanted: Brutale 750 vs Superduke 990

Anyone has any idea if my Brutale 750 will be able to keep up with a Superduke 990 my friend bought? (Brutale 2003 vs Superduke 2007).

I'm wondering if we have the advantage due to our rev limit at 13.000 rpm and the Superduke is only going to 8-9000 rpm. It's a 2 cilinder but only has 100Nm torque so I'm very curious!

I've got the arrow thunder exaust on it (so no cat) but the duke has those akrapovics ...

Facts I found;

Brutie >< Duke
185kg vs 185kg
127hp vs 120hp
90Nm vs 100Nm
13.000rpm vs 9.000rpm
MV Agusta! vs KTM

Internet facts; (so not sure)
0-100 km/h
3.1sec vs 3.7sec
400m
11sec vs 11.3

If you guys have any ideas or experiences, feel free to share!

He will have it this weekend so I'll give u some real facts then.

Greetings,
GC

IMO the MV handles better but the SD has great punchy power and better brakes than the MV.

you can improve the MV brakes with a different master cylinder

I had a SDR and I currently have a 910S

lately ,i have come to the conclusion it is all about the rider, had a scrap with a 990 superduke at the bottom of mt glorious, there was nothing in it .I was actually struggling at certain points.so yes you will be able to keep up with him,but do you have the advantage, maybe?. Have fun

cheers eddy

If you want a Brutale, get one, more style in there than there is in 10 Superduke's.
If you want performance then take the Superduke 990 over the 750 any time, if you can ride well.
If you wanted real power on a naked bike with style, get a B4 1078 and hold on tight.

Ditch the 750 and get a 910
