Co sensor underneath, on the exhaust none on the E2 and present on the E3 as far as I can remember. Help Ed if I'm wrong.
And a bit harder to spot, but different ECU, 1.6M on the E2 and 5SM on the E3.

Look at the valve cover....if it has square caps between spark plugs 1-2 and 3-4 with rubber hoses connected then it is a Euro3....

There are other tips including the o2 sensor, but that may be missing if the bike has a kit exhaust and ECU.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

Wink ?

pull the left side cover with a flashlight you can see the 2 red plugs in the 5SM ECU

then there can't be any question

Ed; I'm looking for the earlier valve cover.....the silly block off caps from the auto parts store keep cracking.....

Chinese rubber and LA ozone.....bad combo
