When will new Brutale come?

So the original F4 design ran from 1998 to 2009 (12 years), and the original Brutale has now run from 2001-2014 (14 years). So, when will it be replaced. Surely, Adrian Morton has sketched some thoughts in his mind.

So, when? And what do you expect?

So, you think they'll let the B4 go on unchanged until diminishing interest causes it to die on the vine?

Not sure why they would continue making it. The performance of the B3 is similar and what is the point of making two models so close?

I have no idea of their plans, but from a production standpoint it makes sense to let one go, from the look of things the B3's are selling as fast as they make them (locally anyway). The expansion of the line built around the 3 cylinder motor looks pretty substantial. F3, F3800, B3, B3800, Dragster, Rivale, Turismo, all using a similar power plant, maybe they'll just make a RR B4, and call it a day.

Survival will be following what actually sells.

The B4 changed to B5 in 2010. Imho no small changes - similar to the F4.

The B3 has replaced all the Brutale's apart from the 1090 which i think is a good thing as it was more than a little confusing knowing the difference.
The B3 is still a distinctive Brutale design so it's not like it's made the B4 look out of date, I'd guess they'll make small technological updates to the 1090 as they bring them on in their other models, other than that it'll stay the same?

Have you ridden a 1090RR ? Not much similarity between that and the B3 800 from where I was sitting.

Giovanni has stated all along that they will continue to develop the 4 cylinder models along with the 3 cylinder models. I am betting that the B4 will be the next to get upgrades. The B4 is the only model not using the new Eldor ECU so it should at least get that. I don't see why they wouldn't keep it around as it's performance is vastly more than the B3.

Also, I wonder if they will put the short stroke motor in it?

Its face does need an update though. The headlight shape is ancient! Even the B3 copied the old bulbous headlight.
