Water Pump

Had my water pump sent away and rebuilt 4 months ago new seals bearings orings. Today same problem leaking from weep hole. Rang the MV dealer who did the work and was told that genuine MV seals aren't very good but they used them anyway. I was told I should source some after market seals and do it myself
Thanks very much

They didn't mention that the shaft was damaged. I have put 3000km since the rebuild and not one drop until now, surely genuine seals should last longer than that.
I'm in Wagga

Well, I recon they fucked up somewhere, the OEM seals are not that bad and mostly fail because of bikes standing and not being ridden or coolant abrasion. (Can happen wen some coolants are mixed and a sandy like deposit is created)

Can you mention the dealer or would you rather not.Do you spend much money with them.I would speak to the dealer principle and demand they do the job again properly.I would have to if it was one of my customers.

Thanks for the advice fellas I'll try again today to see if anything can be done. I would like to continue using Trooper Lu as he is the closest dealer for any major work I need done. Comments on this forum have all been positive about them that's why I sent it to them.
