It's a synthetic material that simulates suede. It will absorb liquid, it will stain.

yes, it is alcantara, no issues, but I don't get it wet, nor have I gotten it dirty, so can't say. But I love the look and feel and when I recovered the OEM, I was able to customize the padding.

I'd always thought the seat was ok on my Brutale, but having done 1100km in 48 hours I now know otherwise! Walking is ok, I just can't sit down on anything too hard....

I just bought my bike and it came with the stock seat and this aftermarket seat which I hink is from the factory. Seems very nice
