Tips on adjusting the rearsets?

Hey-- have the 910s with the adjustable rearsets, but the manual provides no instructions on how to adjust them.

Had the rearsets off... looks like you need to loosen the bolt to adjust? Tried to loosen it, and it was impossible to loosen.

Any tips? Thanks all.

Adjust with rearsets attached to frame: Loosen 12mm nut on back of center adjustment bolt...slightly loosen two 6mm bolts attaching rearset to frame...turn adjustment bolt with large slotted screwdriver to adjust...tighten 12mm nut...tighten 6mm bolts.

I couldn't budge mine either. Just left the rearsets how they were. I was scared to strip the screw.

Managed to get them loosened by following lewolfmd's advice. Keeping them on the bike made all the difference! Thanks!

I will have to try that. I took them off before as well.
