Did I get a steal??

So about 2 months ago I purchased a 2006 Brutale 910S. The bike has some modifications, carbon fiber bits, arrow short exhaust, new ecu (previous owner said it would stall so he got a new ecu and it fixed the problem, carbon fiber rear seat cowl, and some other stuff. The bike is in perfect condition, nothing wrong with it. I bought it for 5250$ with 3200 miles. Is that a good price? What would the bike be worth if I where to trade it in or try to sell it. It has about 3900 miles now. Thanks!

I think you BOTH did - damn you Americans & your throw out society!

You'd NEVER find that kind of deal in Australia! That's for sure.

Congratulations to both of you

It's all relative though. In Aus the pricing on new is high, so depreciation is low. So it makes ownership a sweeter experience not looking at something and knowing that it has just lost $5000 this year just because it is a little older.

Summer 2011, I got a set of Pirelli Rosso Corsas mounted on a Brutale in Switzerland. It cost the equivalent of US $1,200.

Still get sticker shock over 2 years later!!

Wow those are both awesome deals!! Bruteat17 and syd2315 you guys now make it seam that the deal I got was not so great. Bought a 2008 brutale 910r with 760 miles in April for 9k usd, and I've almost racked up 2k since then. On the flip side though - most definitely one of the best bike I've owned!! And ironically reliable and trouble free!!
