Brutale Mods

Put the Brutale in the shop for 600 mile service. Decided to cut out the catalytic converter and upgrade the ecu. Anyone done this yet?? How excited should I be to get it back??

service

did you have any teething problems at the 600 mile service? my speedo is not working, consequently neither are my trip clocks are mileometer! i don't how fast i'm going, how far i'm going, or when i need to fill up with petrol! - was the removal of the catalyctic converter worth it?

Did those 'teething' problems happen due to the removal of the catalytic converter for your brutale, or was that a separate question directed toward the previous post? I did have some electrical problems w/ the box that houses the relays. When it was originally assembled, the connector on the box was cracked, so it would come loose. Warranty covered it though and I have been trouble free since.

catalytic converter releated to last post. my teething problems just seem to be the non functioning speedo - the only gauge i've got to tell me how fast i'm going is a speed camera! - hopefully service & warranty will put right -

Bigs,
How did your mods go? I have read about the straight pipe to replace the cat, but mostly only on retail sites. Can you give me a candid idea of its effects?

Do post! Or better yet, create a registry profile for yourself (go to the registry section, choose brutale, and then at the bottom there is an option to submit your mv). Then you can post up your profile for everyone to see (and add pictures, i must add!)
