Question Does any body know how to clean the etching on the exhaust cans on a 910S

My nephew shoes melted on my cans.

Maybe a non-scratch Scotch Brite Pad?

I use Mother's metal polish and rub lightly with a clean cloth.

I use the same stuff after my wife rides with me........always leaves a mark from her riding boots and the stuff works great........
