1090RR Seat

After a 200+ mile ride , it's safe to say the seat on the 1090 is total crap (feel like I was taken advantage of, prison style). I don't see any aftermarket seats available. Is our only option to have it re-upholstered?? I used to be able to do 400+ mile rides on my Speed Triple without any problems.

I really love this bike, but my ass says otherwise!!

I put one of the neoprene seats from the MV Special Parts catalogue on my 2010 Brutale and liked it much better than the stock seat. It seems to conform better to the lower anatomy, flattens out the seat a bit, keeps the rider from slipping forward, and looks classier. I can't speak to durability of the replacement seat because I sold the bike six months later.

On Tuesday, I am buying the same MV replacement seat for my 2013 Brutale. Once I have that seat on the bike, I will start looking around for someone to rebuild/reupholster the stock seat. Sargent and Corbin are possibilities.

Thanks - I'm going to order that seat tomorrow I do remember it took me a while to get used to the speed triple seat, so that said I'm sure I will eventually get used to the new position / ergos (5'11" 220 lbs, I know I'm a fatass).

I have a Gel insert and 1/2'' of extra padding in mine, the original foam padding wasn't up to the job.

No problems wit the seat - but I used to do a lot of race bicycling. THAT really is a pain for the butt (and your best friend )

I motori sono come le donne, bisogna saperli toccare nelle parti piu' sensibili.......

.......don't know what shape your arse is, but I have done 800k days on my Brute without too much pain......I find it really comfortable, mind you I still do the same distances on my F4, so anything is comfy compared to that!!

Happier bottoms

Here is a shot of my new neoprene seat. My rear end feels better just looking at it.

New tail bag and Rizoma footpegs

A couple more updates to the bike, along with the seat. Still to come: MV Corse exhaust, Rizoma mirrors and rear hugger.
