low tire pressure warning light

anyone know how this works on the bike? I see the light and the mention in the manual... but nothing more.

What bike is this on, I'm guessing one of the new ones with ABS ?

If so it's probably like on my car - you "reset" when the tyres are set at the correct pressure and the computer monitors the wheel rotation speed via the abs sensors. If it varies by more than a certain percentage it flags a pressure change as the smaller diameter of the tyre running at lower pressure means the wheel turns more times to cover a given distance.
