High mileage Brutale R or RR

Hi
I'm a journalist writing a feature on high mileage exotica for Bike magazine in the UK and I'd dearly love to speak to an owner of a Brutale R or RR who's put on some serious miles. By serious miles, I'm guessing the guys at Bike mean double/triple the 3000/year that most of us average. To make matters more tricky, I really need the owner to be in the UK so we can send Bike's photographer out. If you could drop me a pm if you fit the bill (or know of someone who does), I'd really appreciate it. Or you can email me direct at [email protected]
Thanks!
John (and yes, I did start a thread in the F4 section, but was recommended to come over here because you lot do more miles!)

Not too many garage queens on this side of the pond. Just out of warranty, 34000 kms here.

I've got 96000+km on my Brutale 750, feel free to fly over and take it for a ride.

A few issues along the way, but not that much really. So far the engine is still going strong, the bike looks well used but is still my daily ride to work. Do a thread search for threads started by me and read the tool and his torque wrench thread if you have time.

I had to read that 3 times to make sure I was reading it right.

that is impressive and inspirational.

You could also of bought a small country for the amount of money you have probably spent on fuel

That makes the 40 000km's on my Brutale 750 seems pretty low and here I was thinking I might have one of the higher mileage ones.

Chris, close, my Brute is a 2004.

Ben, fuel used to be a problem, 160km from about 19 litres of fuel was painful in the wallet as well as planning journeys trying to not run out. I get 230-250 out of 19 litres now, light comes on at 180-200 and another 45km after that before filling up.

There is a bike in Germany with over 120000km (and that was a while ago). I'm looking to turn 100000 and then see what the oil looks like before I decide to retire it or go for more.
