2 things, ask him for a chart with SAE correction (STD reads high) and where is the a/f ratio chart?

Did you get your map on a disk? If not ask for it.

Run files would also be super.

He should be able to e-mail all the above to you.

As far as stalling, the idle a/f ratio might have been changed.

Did he use "Tuning link"?

Nice numbers!!!

john
your words and advice on this topic (and many others) are priceless to me
i just called over there.....
the guy has left
but the owner will e-mail me.... in the morning
1. the SAE correction
2. the a/f ratio cahrt
this was NOT put on a disc (for whatever reason) so, a "RUN FILE" may NOT be saved (maybe it is... she's going to check)

as for the TUNING LINK
she didn't know
Jason won't be back until monday... i'll ask him then

thank again
i was concerned about the TORQUE shift to the right (maybe that's normal)
and.... the "uglier" torque curve in the lower revs (maybe that's normal as well)

again... this was just pre and post PC III install and nothing else
unforunately the bike was NEVER dyno'd before today

thanks.... SO MUCH... again

I would of thought that if he set the A/F ratio to the correct ratio and the bike lost some torque low down he should really put the A/F back to where it was? or have I missed something?

one thing about THAT stall

- the bike had never stalled before

- 83 degrees... 80 % humidity... 90 seconds
- bike in neutral... clutch NOT engaged

- the bike was idling FINE at about 12-1300rpm... smooth as glass

- all of a sudden a quick BURBLE, then it stalled
- the rpms did NOT fall before the bike stalled... just when from smooth idling for 89 seconds (approx) to stalling..... JUST LIKE THAT

- started back up on 2nd try
- temp at 205 AFTER the restart... didn't really watch it before that

also...
and maybe i'm IMAGINING THIS

before the PC III and dyno tuning the INDUCTION roar was louder than the can pipe and can sound.

after... the muffler sound seems to overcome the induction roar
is that even possible?

maybe i AM nuts

Probably nuts!

Bikes can sound a little different if the a/f ratio was off.

As far as the TQ shift, that is just the operator starting the run, (hitting the record button as it were) at a different time than the run before.

Also you have lost some tq/hp between 4700 and 6500 rpm.

You should also have way more than just 3 runs...ask for them all.
If he pulled your bike, he has the runs.

Send a message via Skype™ to psst!!!...
Hi Creg, do you know if the stall issue was exactly when the fan started to operate? If it stalled when the fan started to work it has to be with AF and CO. Maybe I am just putting wrong questions here...
