Tire Pressure

What tire pressure is everyone running? I have read the manual, but I'm wondering what conventional wisdom says.

Depends on the tires, and the type of riding you're doing, but I run 31/32 in my Pilot Powers.

run 2,5 front and 2,7 rear on Pirelli (supercorsa). Now will check the same pressure on corsaIII. Only after recovering my car accident last week.

please educate me
is YOUR 25/27 the SAME "SCALE" as OUR (US) 25/27?

because, that doesn't seem like much air for STREET riding
which will lead to HOT tires at speed and a VERY DECREASED TIRE LIFE
