Brutale 800 coming!

It appears that there's going to be a brand new Brutale 800 3-cilinder at the Milan show...
Bike will have a resized 675 engine and have much pieces taken over from the new 2013 1090's.

More news in 2 weeks time at the EICMA!

I thought it was going to be more like a hypermotard than yet another Brutale ?

Brutale 800 Italia
Monster 796 .

Rivale too.
But it appears there would also be a B3 800cc!
Would be in by some dealers in Belgium and Holland around Chrismas...

As I understand it there will be three 800 Brutale variants along with the supermotard that appears to be called Rivale. The 800 may be available only in certain markets a bit like Guzzi did with the 850 Griso and 850 Norge. That was to do with driving licence and insurance class issues and they ended up in the Italian market only if I recall correctly. How this all works out with the new, 2013, Pan-European licence issues I don't know but the neat thing is the 675 engines can be electronically slugged to to fit the new licensing regime making those models most attractive to younger, newbie, riders. Hey 19 years old with a Brutale ... Very nice.
