2013 Brutale

Just came across this, don't know whether it's been posted before or not::

MV Agusta's four-cylinder Brutale range will be simplified to just three models for 2013 - all will be 1090cc.

The three models available from 2013 are the Brutale 1090, Brutale 1090R and Brutale 1090RR.

The Brutale 1090 will make 114bhp and comes with rebound and preload adjustable 50mm forks and 310mm front discs. The 1090R has the same spec but the indicators are moved to the mirrors and the paintwork is different.

The top of the range RR makes 158bhp and comes with fully-adjustable suspension and 320mm Brembo brakes at the front.

(This reply has not been checked for punctuation, grammar, or spelling mistakes and is devoid of any big long cleverwords or condescending manner)

MV's all gone now, still have a soft spot for MV's, waiting for MV to tick all my boxes again.
Previously (and about 40 others)748SP, S4, S4R, 98R1, 2000 F4, F41000S, F41000R, 08R1, 09R1, S1000RR, RSV4 Factory aPRC in Garage now

Those 2013 Brutales look amazing. Love the paint schemes and the wheels on them.

The 1090 and 1090R will only make 114hp? I assume they will have really good torque numbers then? The old Brutale 750's made about 120hp, right?

Check the MV Agusta website.
144 bhp. and 112 Nm for the 1090 and 1090R
158 bhp and 100 Nm for the 1090RR

Only a type-error ....
Did you really think MV would go down from 144 to 114 bhp?

Will be interesting to hear a little about the new wheels. Looks good, but what about weight compared with the forged on the RR? If they are not forged on the RR it seems to be a downgrade there...

Could be!
But they are 1500 grams lighter then the original ones used on the 2012 1090R. I think they are exact the same weight now as the 2012 1090RR.
The overal weight of all 1090's MY 2013 is 183 KG (403.5 LBS), RR included.

The 2012 RR's weight is 183 KG (403.5 LBS) and was the lightest 1090 available.
So i think that explains why they use these wheels on all types for 2013 ....
