1090 suspension on a 1078 ?

Need some expert advise on this , can I use the inner parts on a 1090 front suspension to rebuild my 1078 front suspesion, and can I use the 1090 rear shock on a 1078 ??????.Ok I know I might be crazy, but I prefer the 1090 suspension.

I do not think so. As 1090 has rebound and compression on seperate forklegs.
Rear shock could be compatible
