750s Brutale stick coils

Decided to clean the air filter elementand check the plugs on the Brutale. Put it all back together and it will crank over but not fire. I am wondering if i have mixed up the stick coil caps, maybe cyl to 2 or 3 to 4.

Does anyone know the colours of the wiring running to the coils o each cyl?

The fuel pump does have power to it but it seems a little sluggish, any thoughts.

Bike was running fine before my efforts!!

Found the root cause of the problem, fuel pump assy removed from tank and found the hose detached from the fuel filter body. This despite the clic-r clamp still being attached and fastened!

So while its apart will replace the fuel filter and check teh pump and hoses inside the tank.

Hi Donsey,

Yep three MV's, and my 750 is ten years old in a few weeks, had her from new. The curious thing is it's the Brutale which always gives us the most trouble. I could blame the wife (its her baby) but it was me doing the maintenace!

Still it's all resoved, I have a few jobs to finish on it (new Muzzy fan, race set-up brake lines to bleed) and then a test ride if the rain stops! Next month some time I suspect.
