Heated Grips

Getting cold down here in Tassie, seeking some advice on heated grips. Anyone know/use heated grips? Thanks in advance.

I have Oxford heated grips on my 1090RR. They were fitted by Trooper Lu's but I think they are fairly easy to fit yourself. I ride a fair bit in the Blue Mountains and so far they have been great.

Real easy to fit yourself mate. Oxford are great (I found most of their products are crap, but their heated bars are good). The sports grips have a good feel and have a sensor that will detect if your battery get's below 12 volts and flick off (if wired straight to battery they won't drain it).
Don't know how good the sensor is, I never left mine turned on, but if you are worried about that then wire them into ingnition system or headlights, etc.
Around about $100 NZD here so probably quite a bit cheaper for you Aussies.

I was going through snowy mountains in summer gloves with these puppies on my last bike and fingers were nice and warm the whole time
