Blue Spring

Believe me when I tell you I searched first...
I am a newly converted Agustafile. New to inline fours, and new to the drug that is Brutale. I recently picked up a 750 BrutaleS. My rear shock has a blue spring unlike the pictures of yellow springs I see in the forums. My internet savvy attempts have yielded that its a 'lowering spring.' However I still want to bring the forums attention to it...

Gurus:
What does it mean that I have a blue spring?

Blue indicates the spring has gone bad. You need to replace it with a new yellow one.

Well can't be bad, they fitted them to the SPR's SP's and the Senna 750.

Blue was used on older bikes and is a lower weight spring. If you are a heavy fella and need a stiffer spring, pick up a complete shock from CAG with a yellow spring from a newer MV. Wont cost you much.

And don't forget there's an MV meet next month (July 9th). Ride will be up the Crest.
