Exhaust manifold Removal Oil Change?

Hi,

Please don't flame me if this has been covered here before, I did use the search function and couldn't find it covered.

I have a 910S and want to do my first oil change. Is it possible that MV has made doing a relatively simple job into what at first glance appears to be a major hassle?

Is it really necessary to have to remove the exhaust manifold in order to get at the oil filter? Has anyone been able to get the oil filter in and out without having to remove anything additional? If so, would you mind sharing?

Thanks very much.

Yes, it is possible. Unless the previous owner use a slightly longer oil filter, (like and STP).

Nope, just an MV OEM in there. Thanks.
