I need more, how much?

I've put just about 6K on my 2006 910S and can't get enough. I've run with the biggest of the Dogs and have kept up with the baddest. Now I'm ready to set the dagger in their big motor heart! Who's romped on a 910, 990, 1078? How big do I need? I'm not interested in the "Smoother 1090"

How about popping in a F4 motor in my S, (sorry for the bad word)!?

Thanks,
MikeC

There's a bloke on here somewhere who dropped a 312 engine in his brutale. Can't remember his name though.

All the best mate, keep us updated on the project.

Forced induction is always an idea. Not common, and can be quite fiddly to get right on bikes, but well worth it if you get it right!!

Buy a 1078 or 1090 if you want ..... go to the California Superbike School and you'll be faster and smoother anyway

ORBIS NON SUFFICIT

+10, indeed. How fast do you want to go without a windscreen. Maybe I'm just a wimp, but 1078 and training seems like the hot ticket.

I would put a 2000cc engine in if it fit...never enough, even if I dont use it ALL the time, there are times when I could do with a bit more!

Thanks fella's. I'm just wondering how much quicker the 1078 is over the 910. People are freaked out when they ride with me when I'm on the Brute. For example, I rode this weekend with 5, 1050 Speed Triples and a BKing. Well the little 910, keeps up with the King until about 140mph. In the twisties, the BK was like a water truck in my path. The Triples krapped their pants when I went by them at 12,000 rpms...... I am just amazed that this little bike does not get more credit and respect from the magazines. I just get excited thinking about the 1078cc and wondering how big of a notch up from the 910 it is? Again, I've been riding the 910 for 2 years and I'm so used to it now, I think I'm ready for more more more..... Is the 1078 the Baddest Naked out there?

Thanks again,
MikeC
