close call today..

Hi All,

do any of you think that stock tires on Brutale 910 (Supercorsa in a weird street compound) suck?!?! especially the front?

I locked the front while braking hard today...I was able to save it, in part i think due to steering damper, because it did not allow handlebars to twist away...

After I stopped, I checked the tires and my rear was nice and hot and sticky, but front was cold and hard...

I was not very comfortable with the front on the track as well, but I thought it was suspention related and at least it never slid on me.

Never had a problem with mine, even at the track. I will say that I much prefer the Michellin H2 pilot race. So you could say that my next tire purchase wont be Super corse. Just my 2 cents.

I do not have experience with that tire, but I always run a slightly lower pressure in the front (and rear, actually) of my street bikes than suggested...Try backing a few psi out and go for a spin, works for me!

I am running 30f 30 rear pressures. I've never had problems with supercorsas race compound, but the ones on Brutale are different

Well, that certainly seems low enough...Hmmm, maybe you do need to switch them out. Since I don't have those tires, and I don't have that bike, I am supremely unqualified to comment further...Anyone else wanna help out here?

Good luck, let us know what you find out!

There is allready a past post on this subject. Bottom line is those tyres will work well if they can get heat in to them if not better off with set of more road orientated tyres such as corsa or pilot powers. Ambiet temperature and road conditions will have an impact.
