First post - just bought a Brutale

Hi all,

I just picked up a new '10 Brutale 1090R. So far, I've learned about the craptastic mirrors, how to repair them, and what a bunch of dedicated MV nuts you all are!

I compared the MV to the Ducati Streetfighter S, and chose the MV. The bike just fit me better, felt more like an extension of me - and well...is just drop dead gorgeous.

Hope to learn lots more from all the folks here!

Cheers,

Brad

Hi Brad
Welcome. I'm also new, i bought a the 1078rr about a month ago. love the bike - power and handling fantastic and that's coming from a superduke and RSV factory. I also test rode the streetfighter S (did you buy from pro italia too?) and much preferred the brutale.
I'm in just across in Woodland Hill let me know if you want to ride and talk upgrades i'll message you my email.

Andy

congrats on joining us all.

The first thing you should do, is take it home and drop it in your driveway. this will scratch it in some way.
this way you will stop caring about its awesome looks and will make no attempt to baby it, thus enabling you to then fang the shit out of it, like it was designed to do.
