1090RR; now as God intended?

Had an MV de-cat pipe and ECU fitted today.

Much better fuelling, noticeably louder, as it should be without the handicap of Euro 4.....!

Excellent and friendly service from Bennett's of Barnsley.

Pics I will sort, will have to wait for a few days until I can get them off my company Blackberry (not easy!)....

The header pipes are top quality, looks much better, benefits are:

Louder, for sure - no need for full corse system.
Bike is smoother and revs far more freely.
Less mid range buzz, even the rubbish standard mirrors are clear.
Fuel consumption, in the 30's subject to how you ride it.
Less heat, fan seems to get an easier life.
You loose the rasping noise when the exhaust choke valve opens because that goes, personally I liked that sound.
Low speed throttle on/off, not really much difference, still very aggressive.

I am very pleased with mod but its pricy....pm for more details.

Well, I took my bike in today to have the pipe and ECU installed. I get a call from my shop telling me that they have to hang on to my bike. The race ECU that came with my INOX head pipe was completely dead. Oh boy!!! Now lets hope that MV can get them a replacement in a reasonable amount of time.
