Took my 990R out for a play in the sprint yesterday ... footage here:

Compared to my ZX-10R I did not get the same launch times and the best 64ft was up by .15s on the 990R. Bike is stock and the suspension could do with a bit more tuning but overall I am satisfied with 12.05 (got 12.08 in practise so not much improvement there!!!) though the harder I tried the slower I got lol

Now I have had a proper go with it I reckon it will do alright on track and I'll find out after Easter at Le Mans ...

Wow, the first time I've ever seen a timed drag strip with turns! Obviously your group has the road blocked off, but what are the details of you organization?

910R, S4RS Monster,'78 BMW R100S, Heritage Softail, Chrome V-Rod, Sportster 48, Kawasaki Concours 1400, '07 Ultra Classic with sidecar, yellow Vespa LX 150, a cool little Ruckus, and a very understanding wife........

The bendy bits do add a bit of a challenge and take a bit of getting used to I am now looking to go -1 tooth on the front to get a bit more acceleration for road use ... maybe even a bit on the back too. I doubt I'd hit max speed anywhere except when on the French Motorways so should be fine.
