mid pipe/cat eliminator?

I've had my 04 750 Brut for 4 or 5 years now, am thinking about a mid pipe/cat eliminator (ferracci has two possibilities), questions:

How much louder?
How much less weight?
What does it do to the already piss poor mileage?
I'm not wanting to add a power comander, how will it run, with everything else stock?
Noticeable power increase?
What's the best one to get?

??????

New Site Garage
Looks better, sounds truer, runs cooler, mid-pipe will work with stock headers and cans without requiring any other mods and you probably gain 3 to 4hp. I got a slightly used Arrow mid-pipe in the classifieds of this site for about $150.00 if my memory serves me well. it's a no-brainer, you won't regret it. Just get a tool for the springs.

Get the Arrow. No reason not to, except environmental.

minimal for mpg's. put one on and the sound is worth the price of admission. just dynoed w/pc3 and mid pipe, 108.4 at the rear wheel. w/o pc3, 104. BIG jump around 6500 rpm though.

good luck!

Stock cat is 8 lbs. Arrow midpipe is 2.2 lbs. One of the most useful mods for pre Euro3 bikes. More info and dyno charts here:
