Indicators - simple question

Anybody know if the 990/1090 indicators (front in the mirrors) have the same electrical load as bulbs in 1078? And are they LEDs in those mirror indicators???
Thanks guys

Yes, the indicators on the 990/1090's are LED's. Both front & rear. You will need to put resistors if you currently have standard bulbs.

just put on 2 front and back led's, works fine no resisters needed, just flashes a bit faster, the back one's
go on fine, do not cut the original wires just pull out the wires but first you have to open the original lights
and snip the plastic zip tie with a pair of long pointed scissors on both front and back.then the wires will just come out ,buy whatever you like then just match the ends of the new ones and plug them into the existing ones.undo the 2 grub screws under the back wheel gaurd and tuck the wires under the plast y shaped plastic, perfect no wires to be seen. now the front is a little tricky, the nuts that come with the lights have to be grinded on one side to sit flush inside ,once you take of the front headlight you will see why.screw them in and away you go.there is one clamp on the throttle side just use a longer screw to secure this in the smaller hole.looks great i will try to post a picture
regards eddy
