989r noise...

when I hit 4.5krpm I get a grinding annoying sound happeing...

I thoguht it was the clutch cable vibrating, but this is coming from the right hand side of the bike..

ideas?

Check your exhaust system isn't vibrating,,,Radiator and oil cooler too could resonate...get a buddy to rev your bike while you look see

Just a thought if you've got standard mirrors - try touching/pressing the glass when it happens... Weirdest noises ever used to emanate from mine before I wedged in a bit of high density foam..

will have to find some black foam some place..
or maybe wetsuit rubber
