Brutale ECU question! Brutale 910 = F4 1000?

Is the ECU between the Brutale 910s (2006) Same as the F4 ECU, just with a different chip? Can one take the F4 ECU and put a brutale Chip into it to make it work properly?
Thanks for any imput

You have the earlier 16M or the later 5SM ECU's. all you have to do is make sure you are getting the right one. Generally the newer MV agustas have the 5SM from about 2007 onwards. But if you are buying the ECU from a 2006 model F1000 for example just make sure you are getting the 16M to go with your Brutale

He is talking about the 16m. It came from a 2005 (US) 1000. I was pretty sure they were the same ecu, just a different chip. So if I send Dan the ECU with a Brutale chip, he should be set. Correct?
