Levers for Brutale

After riding the past few months with half a brake lever, I've decided to get some brake/clutch levers. Oddly enough, I was going to get a shorty before I snapped mine off, and I've ridden it as is because now, well, it's a shorty! But I digress.

I was going to grab some crg roll-a-clicks, but as I was doing the mandatory "forum pre-purchase check" I noticed some people have had issues with adjustability (or lack thereof). However, most of the posts are fairly old.

So. Anyone have the crg (shorty or otherwise) and want to share their experience? Or any other aftermarket levers for that matter? I'd like to keep the price around the crg's (~$200). I also have stock everything on a 2008 S (nissin).

Thanks!

Some how I wound up with CRGs on all my bikes. I like them well enough, but truthfully, they don't offer any performance upgrade.

I think they look a lot nicer. That's why I use them.

CAG is right...it's just a bling thing.
I have CRGs on Gina, but honestly think the stock levers have a better feel on the fingers...and adjustability is OK.

That said, my CRGs are set at the 3 mark, so I have adjustment available in either direction. I did, however, have to mill 1 mm off the contact point of the brake lever to master cylinder piston, as it was compressing the piston just that much when installed. This made the brakes a bit abrupt, but more importantly I was worried about the relief hole in the master cylinder being covered by the piston cup, which would result in self-applying brakes as the fluid heated and expanded....but it seems my bike was an anomaly after my conversations with the folks at CRG (they are easy to get in touch with and very helpful).

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

They don't list MV as a brand. Do you know if they make something that fits MV?

I was hoping they had updated by now. I put a set of ASV shories on mrs.SS's Monster 695 for Christmas and they are the balls. I had contacted them about MVAgusta and they had indicated something was in the works.....

I have these, in black. Folding up works, the lever didn't crush or broke off. Don't ask how I know...

I have the CRG shorties and I love them. They look great and have a fair amount of adjustment. I have some photos posted in my gallery if you want to check them out.
