text snippet from Autoblog coverage of sale:

"No actual financial data has yet been announced, but rumors from Italy have it that the Italian businessman isn't actually paying anything more than a single symbolic euro for the storied motorcycle manufacturer and may even be getting some additional financial support from Harley-Davidson for the foreseeable future."

Good for the buyers! And good riddance HD. But just goes to show what A$$hats top management at HD is.

HD turned down offers reportedly in excess of 100 mil for Buell.... and then goes and sells MV Agusta for a single euro.

Again... I'm not ragging on MV at all.... but jeez... talk about giving away the store.

Well....thank you to Harley for turning the company around, getting the parts supply chain working properly, and bringing the new product to market (at a competitive price, too)....I would say Harley has done a good job with MV.

Proper advertising, proper product launches, proper support......hope CC doesn't bungle it all (again).

I used to be I just dream about it.

It's not April 1st isn't it. After all that troubled times MV is on its own for just a Euro. Well done Mr. Castiglioni. Congratulations !
