Seat

Ok. I really enjoyed a 200 mile ride today but the seat could be a tad better. I see Corbin has one. Does anyone have experience with this or a different aftermarket seat?

Cheers.

I sent my stock seat to Spencer ( http://greatdaytoride.com/Home_Page.php ) and when I got it back it looked exactly the same. Thing is it felt completely different and the mod he does costs about 50 bucks. One of the best deals in motorcycling.

+1 on Spencer, very happy with the improvement. Can do 400 mile days on it now.

The main issue (in my opinion) with the stock Brutale seat has to do with the foam density. It is way too soft, especially for a heavier rider like myself. After about a 100 miles or so, they do not offer much support.

So, replacing the foam with a higher density foam makes good sense to me.

Wow. Ade's seats look amazing. It's gonna be tough to do that over the summer unless I find a replacement seat to use.

I sent my stock saddle (& pinion) to Sargent, along with some pix. What I got back was pretty amazing! They incorporated a Tri-Colore on the saddle and a red 'V' on the pillion (they did the design). More importantly, the comfort is much better, and the price was very reasonable.
